Yesterday, July 18th, Wellspring hosted Family Fun Night At The Farm (our neighborhood). It was a HUGE success. Last week we put flyers out to all the neighborhood then many of our leaders/ launch team members came at 4PM for set up. I just have to say that we have some AMAZING leaders for our church already! People who are really wanting to reach out to this community, show the love of Christ, and spread the world about Wellspring and our launch coming up in September.
Around 5pm my dad fired up the grill and the neighbors started coming! We had great music, bouncy houses, a big slide, free food, and give-a-way items. We had a TON of people come... probably close to 200 and we had the opportunity to have some great conversations with people who are looking for a church. We also met many people who already have a church home but said they were going to pray for our church! That is always so encouraging!
I want to say a special THANK YOU to Danielle & Trey who really did a ton of work getting things together, to TJ for all his graphics work, t-shirt designing, card making, etc... and to Amanda who worked so hard to get items donated for our give-a-way items, and to ALL of our LAUNCH team who helped and served!
Please pray with us that the Lord would lead those families he desires to our church and that we may minister to them so that they can come into a closer relationship with HIM!
