Remember...
Sunday we had our normal launch team gathering at Trey and Danielle's house. I have to say it was one of my favorite Sunday's since we have been here. Trey spoke on how important it is to REMEMBER all that God has done for us in the past and how that keeps us going through the hard times that we may face in the future. He asked us to share about Easter and what was our favorite thing... it was great to just share with one another how we all felt God moving at our Easter service.
Here were a few favorites mentioned:
1) How many people actually showed up! We were blown away!
2) Seeing so many people come to know Christ
3) To see our launch team at work... this was one of my favorites! They were amazing!
We know where will be hard times as Wellspring grows as a church and how important it is to remember how God has been faithful and powerful to do His work in and through Wellspring so that we can reflect on this in the future. Then we took communion and it was wonderful! I really enjoyed it!
I encourage you too, to remember the times God has been faithful to you in the past... write it down, share with a friend, whatever you want to do. The KEY is that we never forget how HE has been faithful and how much HE loves us!
Retreat...
TJ and Trey left today for a few days... Here is what Trey wrote on his blog and I too ask you to pray for them while they are away...
"TJ and I have a big week ahead of us. We leave today to head to Charlotte for THR3E, a one-day event that Elevation Church is doing. They’re spending one day telling everything they can about their first three years, what they’ve learned, etc.
Needless to say I’m stoked.
After that, we are heading to an “undisclosed location” to do a little staff getaway. We’ll use this time to plan the summer, plan the fall, develop a specific launch budget, pray for leaders and volunteers, and we might have a little fun as well.
Please be in prayer for us this week. We need to hear God clearly as we get ready to make the final push before we launch Wellspring Church. The launch is coming and God has big, big things in store."
Thanks for you continued support and prayers for Wellspring!!
